Here's the fun part! This section will be updated when the projects becomes more and more concrete.
Here is the concept and things we thought about including in the video:
The fan documentary is meant to be a congratulation message to Arashi for going through 10 years together, all five of them. We all know being an idol isn't always easy so let's give back a little bit of everything they bring us! ^-^
We thought fans answering questions like "How did you get to know Arashi?", "What is it like being an international fan?" would be interesting. Also, people who do fanart or activities such as translating, subbing and maintaining websites or blogs to keep fans non fluent in Japanese updated would be very welcomed to film themselves and show us some "backstage material"!
As the general opinion might be different than ours we decided to let you tell us what you want to show to Arashi. Send your suggestions at 2009@arashi-world.com and we will update them here.
Suggestions from you so far:
- Include pictures/video footage of our Arashi items
- Take a picture of yourself (or a group of fans) next to a close landmark where you live (ex: Like in San Fran the Golden Gate Bridge and in Florida, Disney World) or with something typical of your region if a landmark is not available. Then we will either put the picture in a slideshow at the end of before the fan messages.
- Film yourself doing some Arashi karaoke.
- Include Venoatgre's piano as a soundtrack during pictures and when needed. (at least A・RA・SHI)
- Happiness air guitar - Fan version. Basically it would be either in the begining or ending and it would be us fans playing air guitar to the sound of Happiness. We can also add the concept of the "guitar" traveling all around the world from region to region like in the Yamada Tarou Monogatari opening!
- Do parody of their music videos or learn up their dance routine.
- Take picture of ourselves posing like Arashi in their
single/album covers.
Since it's meant to be something international, please send us translations for "about the project", "steps" and "participate!" in any language you can translate to 2009@arashi-world.com. Keep in mind that sections like "participate!" will change rather often so be ready to get contacted regularly. Also, add "For more up-to-date information, please reffer to the English version of this page if you can".
Right now we also need to get in contact with people who can do the following and will still be available in quite a while. (see the steps for more information):
- Knowledge in video montage.
- Can translate from ___ to Japanese.
- We will also need subbers and hardsubbers but much later.
Please send your name, what you can do and how we can get in contact with you at 2009@arashi-world.com. We will get in touch with you when the time comes.
